Kathy helped me by bucking the rivets to the leading edge skin and the spar as well as clean up a couple misset rivets. The outboard aileron attachment also goes on at this point as well as riveting the leading edge ribs and screwing the fuel tank to the spar.

But then…

Remember that bent bolt? I had received the replacement but hadn’t installed it. I figured I would just do it last as it was on the outboard rib.  You can see the temporary bolt and nut in the third picture.  However, after mating the spar and ribs to the tank and leading edge, I realized that the bolt would be blocked from changing it out.

I would have to remove the tank to get at it.  Rework time.

I made a list of steps for changing out the bolt and taped it to the skin as shown in the last picture.
