A couple of interesting pieces here. The first is one of the rods for the canopy release mechanism I made.

The second one is shown in the third picture. When attaching the skin shown in pictures two and four various holes are drilled or countersunk. In picture three there is a short row of holes that were up drilled to get the final fitting perfect and then they needed to be countersunk. However, the lower skin is already attached to the longeron so you can’t easily use the microscope countersink tool because it won’t sit square.

So I drilled an oversized hole in a piece of scrap the same thickness as the side skin and then could sit the countersink tool on the scrap and skin and get nice countersinks.
