Next you mount the canopy back in position and mark out the area to be fiberglassed to hold the front edge to the frame. You make a small tool, and measure off a two inch area centered on the edge. You will make a four inch radius fillet in the are between the bottom of the red tape and the red line.

Outside of that area the shape will change as you sand to a fair line to meet the side vertically. But first you do an initial sanding for a small fillet that will simply fill in the tiny gap between the edge of the canopy and the aluminum.
