Why am I showing you the pitch servo again. Because it is a new one. One day while I was working on setting up some piece of the avionics all of the sudden I heard a pop and a whir. Then I got a message that the clutch on the pitch servo had failed. The autopilot was not engaged so I don’t know what happened or why. There is a page in the setup that allows for the clutch monitor to be reset. I did that but a few minutes later the same thing happened, even though the autopilot was off. A call to Steinair and Garmin sent me a new one and I sent them back the old one. It has been reinstalled. And as if to say, I’m done back there, I put the aft cargo bulkhead in place for now. It is now September 1 and I am not at the airport, I’m not about to be at the airport. I just hope I make it to the airport before winter starts. That’s my goal.
