The front baffles get RTV applied as well as shown in the first picture. I have friend who is nearly finished with an RV-10 and an engine he bought used. He has regaled us with the story about how difficult it turned out to be to fit his baffles. Picture two shows the entire extent to the modifications I had to make to the stock RV-14 baffles for the io-390. I had to trim that one tab back to the blue lines. As a group we have teased him about his baffles vs mine while showing him this picture.
The baffles have been mostly installed in the last two pictures. I have not installed the rubber seals that attach to the baffle tops yet because I am doing them out of order and have not fitted the cowl yet.
