Then it was time to move. The fuselage was scheduled to go to the airport May 6th.  My friend Dave volunteered to help me move it just like he did with the Sonex. We borrowed a tilting snow mobile trailer from a fellow chapter member. While getting measurements for the trailer and figuring out how to mount the plane to it, I realized that the angle of the trailer was so steep that the tail would hit the ground before we could get the fuselage on the trailer.

I drew up plans to make three ramps and two trailer supports to establish a seven degree slope. The ramps would need to go to the airport as well so they became part of the support structure on the trailer once the plane was on it.
