It was a busy couple of weeks around the move.  Prior to moving the fuselage I arranged to get a BasicMed medical. It is good for four years and it will cover my flying in the new airplane. I have been flying sport pilot recently and since BasicMed started May 1st I decided to skip getting my third class back and my doctor signed me off on May 4th.

Then it was out to Vernonia, Oregon the week after the move for three days of transition training in a 14. The first picture is a 180 degree pano of the little grass strip we started from each session. We then flew to Scappose, Oregon to do all of our pattern work. I was scheduled for three days with two, two hour sessions each day at 10 and 3. We made all but one of them with the rainy weather. I got my High Performance endorsement and a flight review since mine was coming up in a few months.

Picture two shows what I saw a lot of while walking around Vernonia at lunch time each day.

After getting home, the next week was all about getting ready to move the shop and all the rest of the pieces of the airplane. I went out to Gary where I have been hangered and took apart my Sonex wing stand and brought home to rebuild for the 14 wings. That is in progress in the third picture.

Then it was moving day number two.
