The first picture is just some of the hundreds of staples I removed.  It wasn’t that hard to do and it made it a lot safer to handle the wood.
The second picture is actually a Van’s part number.  Two templates are copied onto the wing tip crate at Van’s when they ship the kit.  It is for making a wing leading edge stand used during assembly of the wing leading edges.

The bottom two pictures show the instructions for creating four leading edges templates for the assembly of the horizontal stabilizer. I just used scrap crate wood.
