Like the rear section of skin, the forward floor skins also need various pieces attached. Pictures two and three show skin stiffeners for two VHF antenna mounts.  I will only be using one VHF radio, so for now, I did not enlarge the hole in the skin shown in picture three.  In fact, per the plans, you simply fill the whole with a rivet that doesn’t connect anything.  If I should decide to add a second radio I just drill it out and enlarge the hole and I have a ready made mounting spot.

Picture three also shows the flat plate of steel I often use for back riveting. The two long stiffeners that run down the center of each of the skins was riveted that way.

The last picture shows a block of wood between the two main spar carry throughs. This block of wood will be used to stand the entire fuselage section on its side to allow for riveting the main spar carry throughs to the skins.
