I also had to finish up and install the battery box now that the gear was in place and I could access the bottom of the fuselage. The second picture shows the completed installation after I fashioned the hold down clamp.

Pictures three and four show rework to the stick connections. I did not like the micro molex connectors used and had a tough time getting them through to the sticks. After getting everything all hooked up the connectors failed. They did so because the connectors are not isolated from motion and they move a lot. That was why I was unhappy with them. When they failed, I just replaced them with standard nine pin connectors.

I only used nine of the twelve pins that the other connector has available and if I ever need to add more wires to the stick I can easily replace the nine pin connectors with 15 pin connectors. The last picture shows the tight work space for rewiring. I had to lie down on the fuselage cargo and seat floor to have access to make up the fuselage side of the connector. The third picture is the easily made stick side. I did it for both sticks even though only one side failed.
