Turning the piece over and removing the tape you usually have these tape dots that you can just scrape off with your fingernail. The only advantage to rivet tape is that it will all peel off without the dots. When I do flush rivets with the rivet tape you don’t get the blue dots. On the Sonex spars, Kathy took all the blue dots off for me. The rear spar is shown finished in the last two pictures.
