The first picture shows a tricky maneuver. To get the openings around the prop blades to the final size, you have to change the pitch of the prop blades per a procedure outlined in the plans. I had Kathy hold the blades in position while I checked for clearance around the blades at high and low pitch positions. I then removed the spinner and sanded the holes to the final shape.

After attaching nut plates to all the previously drilled holes in the two spinner plates it was time to install the front one permanently as shown in the last picture. All finishing work on the rear plate has to be done on the plane.
