With all the exhaust pipes in place and torqued down I started on the heating system. It consists of two heat muffs that have air vented to them from the cowl inlet.  Scat tubes interconnect these muffs with the two hot air vents in the cabin.

The last picture shows the right side cabin vent modified with a block off plate. If this cabin vent is closed it is a dead end for the heated air. The left side is left open so that if both cabin vents are closed the heated air goes out the bottom of the cowl.
