To the Airport!

With the engine installation done and out of the way, it was time to keep pushing to the finish line. Several items that had been waiting until near the end could finally get finished.

The first two pictures show the finishing up of installing the rear window. It had already been fitted and removed for access to the baggage area for various component installations. Picture one shows the first step. The yellow tape acts as masking for the sealing compound that got installed between the window and the skin.  In picture two the window is now installed and weather tight.

Pictures three and four show another long delayed install. The forward most skin. I left this off to have access for wiring. Now that that has all been accomplished it was time to close it up. It also had all its edges weather sealed with sealing compound.
