After finishing up the canopy with some weather striping, it was installed and we rolled out the airplane to test out all the GPS signals. The airplane knew were it was for the first time!
I also installed to canopy alignment pins, one on each side. These were added to the kit after it was released. At high speed the canopy had a tendency to bow out at the middle a little bit and Van’s was worried that it could move enough to become unlocked. Picture three and four show the pin and the receiver.
