Next I removed all three and applied some sanding filler to them. I sanded them to fit and installed them.

The last picture shows the empennage fairing fitted. I had to drill, countersink and then add nut plates to the empennage to secure them with screws. Not easily seen are the two aluminum components of the empennage fairings. These wrap around the back side of the elevator horn. You have to make two easy bends in these pieces to get them to fit.  No pictures.
